The 8th grade football team knocked off rival Salem 30-20 on Wednesday night to earn a share of the EBC championship with Marlington.  The Warriors finish the season with a 5-2-1 record and a 3-1-1 record in the EBC.

After a slow start, the Warriors were able to gain some momentum on Logan Hawk's two touchdown passes and his huge 90 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Quakers.  Hawk had 16 passing touchdowns on the season with zero interceptions.  Gavin Marshall had two touchdowns on the night and brought his season total to 12 receiving touchdowns.  Mahlon Fritz rushed for some hard yards and had a big interception.  Cameron Mason also had an interception and receiving touchdown to add to the lead.  The defense had one if its best performances of the season and stopped the Quakers on the goal line which helped seal the victory.

The team worked hard, showed resilience and improved each day.  Coach Yannon and Coach Lucente would like to congratulate and thank the team for a successful season.
