The girls golf team finished second at Wednesday's EBC Championships held at Pleasant View Golf Club in Louisville.  The Warriors finished with a score of 382, two stroke ahead of third place Marlington.  Minerva took home the championship with a 341.

With the second place finish the Warriors also finished in 2nd overall in the league.

The Warriors were playing in its third straight tournament this week but the girls were up to the task with all either tying or bettering their score from the day before.  Emma McLaughlin led the way with an 88 which was good for fourth overall.  Isabella Linger scored a 94 which placed her in the top 10 of the tournament.  Also scoring for the Warriors were Zoe Metzger and Maddie Dye who each carded a 100.

The Warriors regular season comes to a close with a 12-3 record and a second place EBC finish.  The Warriors will next play on Monday, September 28th in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament at The Pines in Orville.
