Recent West Branch graduate Zach Coffee has been named WKBN Student Athlete of the Week, adding another honor to an impressive senior year. 
 

Coffee was a key contributor for the Warriors football team during his senior season, helping lead West Branch to a 10 win campaign while establishing himself as one of the team's top defensive playmakers. His strong performance on the field earned him OHSAA Division IV First Team All Ohio honors and added to a list of postseason recognition during his final season in a Warriors uniform.

In addition to football, Coffee also represented West Branch as a member of the basketball and track programs, competing as a three sport athlete throughout his high school career. Away from athletics, Coffee excelled in the classroom, finishing with a 3.92 grade point average.

Coffee will continue his academic and athletic career at Mount Union, where he plans to play football at the collegiate level. This is a well-earned recognition of the work he''s put in across the board. Nice job, Zach.
