The JV baseball team defeated Marlington 12-8 on Wednesday in a lightning shortened four inning affair.  With the win the Warriors improve to 3-3 on the season and 3-0 in the EBC.

The Warriors collected 11 hits on the day including three by Austin Close.  Close tripled, had two RBI's and scored three runs.  Justin Dickey hit two doubles and knocked in four.  Brock Francis and Logan Dowd also doubled for West Branch.  Also collecting hits for the Warriors were Jackson Benner, Jake Hardy, John Bardo, and Truss Milliken.

Next up:  West Branch will travel to Marlington to close out the series on Thursday.  First pitch is 5 PM.
