The JV baseball team scored nine runs in the first three innings and held on for an 11-8 victory at Southeast on Tuesday afternoon. The Warriors improve to 8-14 on the season.
West Branch collected eight hits on the day including two each by Jake Hardy, Eli Bell and Logad Dowd. Hardy doubled and knocked in three runs to go along with two walks reaching base four times. Dowd also walked and was hit by a pitch on the day. Bell doubled, had three RBI and scored two runs. Also singling for the Warriors were Austin Close and Carter Day.
On the mound Austin Close, Jake Hardy, John Bardo, and Carter Day each combined for the victory.
Next up: The JV team will play its final home game of the season on Wednesday vs. South Range. First pitch is 5 PM.
