The JV baseball team was unable to tame the Howland Tigers today falling 17-5 at West Branch High School. The Warriors opened the game with five first inning runs, but gave up seven in the second and nine in the sixth. The Warriors are now 2-3 on the year.
The Warriors managed just two hits on the day, singles by Jackson Benner and John Bardo. Bardo's single knocked in two runs. Jake Hardy, Benner, and Brock Francis also collected RBI's.
West Branch will be back in action on Monday for a freshman game against Waynedale. The next JV game will be Tuesday at Marlington.
