The JV boys basketball team defeated Girard 47-37 on Friday night for its fifth straight victory to improve to 10-9 on the season.

The Warriors broke open a close game by outpacing the Indians 14-6 in the final frame.

Luke Curry led all scorers with 16 points including two big three's in the fourth quarter.  Grady Olinger finished the night with 13 points which included three from downtown.  Michael McCartney chipped in eight while Logan Hawk and Mason Cosma had four each.

Next up:  The Warriors will head to Alliance tomorrow.  The game is scheduled to tip at 4:30 PM.
