The Warriors size was too much for Girard as West Branch dominated the paint while hitting some clutch three's in a convincing 59-32 victory at Girard on Friday night. With the win West Branch improves to 13-6 on the season.
Girard hung around in the first quarter trailing by only four,  but a big second and third quarter by the Warriors blew the game wide open. West Branch outscored the Indians 35-18 in the middle two frames.
Gavin Gregory scored a game high 17 points, all in the first three quarters. Gregory hit six shots from the field and finished 5-7 from the line.Â
Jeremiah Thomas scored 12 points with two from downtown and
Zach Coffee added eight points for the winners.Â
Kasen Weaver had six points and
Chase Gee,
Grady Hirst,
Landon Coffee, and
Brock Woost each finished with four points.
Next up: The Warriors head to Alliance for an EBC Championship game against the Aviators. Both teams enter the game at 8-1 in the league with the winner earning the outright championship. Â
