Gavin Gregory and Jeremiah Thomas scored 38 of the 40 West Branch points as the Warriors bounced back for a road victory at Canton South 40-36 Saturday night.  With the win the Warriors improve to 9-6 on the season.

In a defensive battle, Gregory helped keep the Warriors in the game in the first half score 14 of his game high 22 in the first two stanzas as the Warriors trailed 21-18 at intermission.  In the third quarter, Thomas got hot behind the arc hitting three triples to give the Warriors the lead 32-31 after three. Thomas finished the day with 16 points including four triples.  Strong defense in the fourth quarter limited the Wildcats to just five points and the Warriors held on down the stretch for the victory.  

Next up:  West Branch will travel to Younstown East on Tuesday.  Tip off for the varsity is approximately 7 PM.
