The Warriors picked up a much needed 45-38 victory over Howland on Tuesday evening at the West Branch Fieldhouse. With the win West Branch improves to 4-5 on the season.
West Branch played a strong defensive game limiting Howland opportunities and forcing the Tigers into bad shots all night long. The Warriors held a 24-15 advantage at halftime and withstood a Howland comeback in the third quarter as the Tigers trimmed the lead to three points, but never got any closer as the Warriors hit some clutch shots late and finished Howland off from the free throw line.
Jeremiah Thomas led all scorers tonight with 17 points including two triples.Â
Kasen Weaver added 10 points including a three while both
Gavin Gregory and
Grady Hirst knocked down seven tallies.
Next up: West Branch will end its five game homestand with an EBC matchup against the Carrollton Warriors. JV's tip off at 5:30 followed by the Varsity.
