The JV Green baseball team fell to Marlington 11-5 on a sunny Thursday afternoon dropping to 5-5 on the season and 2-4 in the EBC. The Marlington bats were hot as the Dukes collected 15 hits on the day. West Branch finished with seven hits.
Colin Jones and Austin Close each doubled for the Warriors while Carter Thrasher, John Biggs, Grayden Grimm, Brady Kerns, and Bryce Parker each singled.
Chase Gee pitched the first four innings and took the loss. Austin Close pitched one inning allowing two unearned runs and Jake Hardy pitched the final two frames allowing one unearned run on two hits.
