The JV Green baseball team fell to 5-4 on the season and 2-3 after a 12-8 loss at Alliance on Wednesday afternoon. The Warriors opened up with a three run first inning and a two run second, but was matched by the Aviators each time. Alliance would continue to add on multiple runs each inning leading to the victory.
West Branch collected 12 hits on the day with Grayden Grimm leading the way with three. Carter Thrasher, John Biggs, and Bryce Parker had two hits apiece and Brady Kerns knocked in two runs on the day.
Biggs started for the Warriors on the mound pitching 3.1 innings while Colin Jones finished the final 2.2 innings.
Next up: West Branch will host Marlington on Thursday in an EBC contest at 5 PM.
