Tonight, the 22nd-seeded West Branch boys basketball team (12-11) travels to fourth-seeded West Geauga (18-5) for an OHSAA District Semifinal, with a chance to reach the District Championship. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

West Branch enters the game riding a five-game winning streak, including a dominant upset win over 18th-seeded Mentor Lake Catholic last Friday. Meanwhile, West Geauga narrowly escaped in their game with a 60-57 win.

Neither team has played each other this season, but both teams have played against and beaten Crestwood.

What's at stake:
The winner of tonight's game will advance to the Division 4 Northeast 2 District Championship on March 1st. The game will be played against either the number one seeded Canfield Cardinals or the 29th seeded Salem Quakers at North Ridgeville, at 1:00 PM on Saturday.
