The 2025 26 season is finally here, and the West Branch boys wrestling team is looking to build on last year with another strong campaign. The Warriors return strong numbers again with roughly two dozen wrestlers and are led by four seniors: Brody Morrison, Beau Nezbeth, Damien Kicielinski, and Gavin Hang.
Nezbeth returns to West Branch for his senior season after spending time at Louisville, where he qualified for the Division I State Tournament. Senior Gavin Hang will look to have a big year after qualifying for the state tournament last season. Sophomore Justin Marra will also look to take another step after qualifying for the state tournament as an alternate a year ago.
The Warriors open their season tomorrow at the Beachwood Invitational. They will host five home matches this winter:
