The Warriors Middle School wrestling team lost a close match Thursday evening, 49-48. Winning for the Warriors by pin were Cael Miller, Maverik Martig, Ben Davis, John Bates, Jackson Adelman, Garrett Turman and Linden Fannin. The team tied in points initially, 48-48, and lost on a tiebreaker.

Also picking up wins for the Warriors were Owen Carter, Christopher Smith and CJ Dudley. Aurora Ferguson and Mckenzie Hang faced off against the middle school girls from Minerva and each came away with a pin.

The Warriors return to action on Saturday traveling to South Range for the Holiday Classic Tournament. Wrestling begins at 9am.
