The battle of the Warriors was long and strenuous, but West Branch came out the other side victorious. Carrollton controlled the first two sets, winning both 21-25. With West Branch backed into a corner, they came out swinging and fought back to win the next three sets 25-10, 25-14, 15-8.
The Lady Warriors battled through adversity, with
McKenzie Hang seeing her first varsity start of the year. Hang worked hard, collecting 15 assists while chipping in 3 digs and an ace.
Kendelle Hoopes directed the rest of the offense with 27 assists, 11 kills, and 19 digs.
Madi Hoopes controlled both sides of the net with 6 blocks and 25 kills, while making the most digs of the night at 27. Elly Biskup notched 23 digs, with
Sydney Libb and Izzy Ludwig each at 9.
The Lady Warriors are now 12-4 and 6-1 in the EBC.
The JV worked hard and won in 2 with set scores of 25-23 and 25-19. They improved to 11-4 and 5-2 in the EBC.
The West Branch Volleyball Program will celebrate their seniors on Tuesday, 9/29 and host Alliance. JV starts at 5:30pm with the seniors being recognized in between the two games.
