The Lady Warriors extended their winning streak to 8 with a 3-1 win over Tuscarawas Central Catholic. The Saints didn't make it easy, with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 25-23. The offense was coordinated by
Aislyn Ring with 28 assists while chipping in 7 digs and 2 aces.
Madi Hoopes notched 14 kills and digs while also controlling the net with 6 blocks.
Kendelle Hoopes also had a strong showing with 8 kills and 4 blocks.
Renae Emmons chipped in 4 kills as well. Elly Biskup and Izzy Ludwig controlled the back row with 21 and 13 digs respectively.
Peyton Twaddle contributed 4 digs and
Sydney Libb added 5 more.
The JV had a tough battle but came out on top 2-1 with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 26-24.
The JV is now 9-2 and the varsity is 9-3.
Both teams return home to continue EBC play against rival Salem on Tuesday. JV starts at 5:30pm.
