For those who were unable to attend the OHSAA pre-season player/parent meeting the PowerPoint is posted below as well as under the Forms tab on top of the web page. In addition, points of emphasis from the meeting are also included:
2026-2027 OHSAA Pre-Season Player/Parent PowerPoint
Points of Emphasis:
- Be sure to follow the chain of command when there is an issue:
- Student speaks with Coach
- Parent/student speak with Coach
- Parent/student speak with Athletic Director
- Parent/student speak with Principal
- Parent student speak with Superintendent
- The most important part is that the student is always involved in all communication
- Board members should never be involved and all communication that breaks the chain of command will be pushed back to the steps that have been skipped
- Code of Conduct is located under the forms tab of the website
- Coaches may have rules in addition to the code of conduct
- Recruiting is the responsibility of the athlete but coaches and administration will help
- The ticket policy is located under the Inside Athletics tab
- Failure to adhere to the ticket policy can result in removal from the stadium
- Examples include vulgar language or negative language directed personally at an official, members of a team, coaches, or fans
- Sharing passes is also another example of a violation of the ticket policy
We anticipate on having another great year here at West Branch. We have great athletes, coaches, and parents and we want to continue to showcase what being a Warrior is all about. If you have any questions about the policies from the meeting please do not hesitate to contact the athletic department.
Go Warriors!!
