The Lady Warriors bounced back tonight, defeating the Lady Spartans of Boardman 3-1.  West Branch improves to 2-3 on the season.

The Warriors showed their strength in the first two sets winning 25-15 and 25-18, then just missing the third set 23-25. West Branch won the fourth set 25-8 to earn the victory. The defense was on fire with 40 recorded digs, led by Elly Biskup, Madi Hoopes, Aislyn Ring, and Sydney Libb. Ring collected 32 assists on the night along with 6 aces. Izzy Ludwig also chipped in 3 aces. The blocking was also a team effort with Kendelle Hoopes, Cailyn Fritz, Renae Emmons, and M. Hoopes all scoring 2 blocks. M. Hoopes was the kill leader with 23, alongside Emmons and K. Hoopes each scoring 7. 

The JV won in two sets tonight, with scores of 25-14 and 24-11. 

The Lady Warriors look to continue the momentum as they finish their road campaign tomorrow at West Geauga. JV starts at 5pm.
