Alliance, OH -- On Friday, head coach Frank Edie and the West Branch boys golf team made the short trip to Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance for an EBC match with Marlington. It stayed close all the way, but the Warriors came up six strokes short in a 192-186 loss to the Dukes.

Freshman Karson Fuson led the way with a (45). Ashton Clay followed at (47), Bennett Biggs shot a (48) and Colton Ghezzi rounded out the counting four with a (52).

The JV also fell, 231-219. Jacob Hardy led that group with a (52), followed by Cooper Ruthrauff at (59). Jason Irey and Carter Hilliard each finished with a (60).

What's Next: The varsity is back in action tomorrow at the South Range Classic, held at Youngstown Country Club.
