The Lady Warriors opened their season last night at home with Austintown Fitch. They fought hard against a strong Fitch squad, but the Lady Warriors lost 0-3 with set scores of 22-25, 23-25, and 15-25. The offense was led by Madi Hoopes with 12 kills and Audrey Ring with 7 kills. Renae Emmons, Kendelle Hoopes, and Cailyn Fritz contributed 5, 3, and 2 kills respectively. On the defensive side Elly Biskup and Aislyn Ring had 7 digs apiece, with Audrey Ring adding 5 digs and Izabella Ludwig adding 4. Aislyn Ring directed the offense with 26 assists. Biskup and Aislyn Ring both chipped in an ace on the night as well.

The Lady Warriors look to bounce back on the road against the New Philadelphia Quakers tomorrow night with JV starting at 5pm and varsity to follow.
