The Warrior tennis team evened its record at 1-1 with a 3-2 victory over Alliance today at the University of Mount Union. The Warriors are also 1-0 in the EBC.
Sydney Lane got her first varsity win at 2nd singles 6-1, 6-2. 1st Doubles (
Leah Irey and
Annabelle McGuire) won 6-1, 7-5 and the 2nd doubles team of
Ava Cope and
Landry Simon were 6-2, 6-0 winners.
In JV action the Warriors picked up three doubles victories including a pair of 6-0 wins by
Lauren Sanor and
Sophia Hall.
Layla Shinn and
Ava McGuire won 6-0.
Next up: The Warriors will host Marlington on Wednesday afternoon at West Branch High School.
