The West Branch Lady Warriors opened the 2026 season in strong fashion Monday night, earning an 8-0 victory over Boardman to start the season 1-0.

Elli Colian led teh Warriors with four goals, while Ellie Tucker, Caidee Schroeder, Alinee Bacconi, and Iris Nezbeth each added a goal.

Cambrie Nezbeth recorded three assists, with additional assists from Schroeder and Tucker.

Audrey Eaton recorded the shutout in goal for the Warriors.  With the clean sheet, Eaton now has 23 career shutouts, setting a new West Brnach school record for career shutouts by a goalie.

The Warriors will look to continue their strong start when they return to action Wednesday at Austintown Fitch.  The varsity game will start at approximately 6:30 following the JV half game.
