The Warrior tennis team traveled to Salem on Thursday night and defeated the Quakers 5-0. The highlight of the match was the the 2nd doubles team of
Connor Loper and
Everett Zippay who battled back after falling 1-6 in the first set to win a third set tie breaker 10-6. The Warriors are now 7-4 overall and 4-0 in the league.
Also winning for the Warriors were
Austin Hawk,
Damon Edwards, and Cameron McCartney in singles matches and the first doubles team of
Jeremy Augustein and
Blake Robbins.
The Warriors will return home on Thursday to take on Marlington in an EBC Championship doubleheader. The Warriors and Dukes both come into the match a perfect 4-0 in the league. The match is scheduled to start at 4 PM.
