In a very competitive match the boys tennis team narrowly defeated New Philadelphia on Monday afternoon with a 3-2 victory over the visiting Quakers. The team is now 4-1 on the season.
Austin Hawk and
Damon Edwards each picked up singles victories. The match came down to the first doubles team of Cameron McCartney and
Connor Loper. The duo lost the first set 5-7, but came back to win the second set 6-2 and the deciding set 7-5 for the two hour three set victory.
In JV action
Jeremy Augustein and
Mason Cosma won 6-1 and
Everett Zippay won a 5-3 singles match.
The Warriors will travel to Marlington on Tuesday for an EBC contest at 4 PM.
