Canton, OH -- This season has been a special one for the West Branch girls basketball team, and they stayed red hot with a 45–32 victory over Gilmour Academy at the historic Canton Memorial Fieldhouse. The Lancers came into the game confident, building an early 11–6 lead in the first quarter. After the opening quarter, the switch flipped for the Warriors on both ends of the floor. West Branch allowed just four points while scoring 15 of their own to take a 21–15 lead into halftime. It was evident freshman Madi Hoopes wanted the ball, attacking the basket and finding success.
