Beloit, OH — The West Branch Lady Warriors closed out the regular season in dominant fashion Saturday, using a fast start to roll past visiting Girard, 52–11, ahead of tournament play.
West Branch jumped out to a 14–4 lead early and never looked back. The Warriors tightened up defensively in the second quarter, holding the Indians to just one point to take a commanding 30–5 advantage into halftime.
The second half brought more of the same, as West Branch continued to control the pace on both ends of the floor, cruising to the 41-point victory on their home court.
Madi Hoopes led the way with 14 points, followed closely by Tallie Muniz with 13. Aline Bacconi added seven points, while Sammi Beatty chipped in five.
What's Next: The Lady Warriors will host No. 34 seed Akron East in a sectional final matchup Thursday at 7 p.m.
