Beloit, OH -- Dane Martucci had a night he won't forget, scoring five goals as third seeded West Branch blanked No. 38 seed Ravenna 8-0 to reach the sectional final.
Martucci did most of the damage, but he had plenty of help. Reed Martucci, Mason Thomas and Grady Olinger each scored once, and Reed Martucci set up two more goals. Leonel Gonzalez also had two assists, while Thomas added one.
Ravenna rarely tested Lance Myers, who stopped both shots he faced to keep the shutout intact.
