Beloit, OH -- The West Branch Lady Warriors welcomed winless Mooney to Beloit on Wednesday night, with the Cardinals hoping to pull off a major upset. Unfortunately for Mooney, the Warriors had other plans, jumping out to a 20–4 lead after the first quarter and taking a 32–12 advantage into halftime.
West Branch continued to dominate after the break, allowing zero points in the third quarter and cruising to a 53–20 victory at home.
Sammi Beatty led the way with 12 points for the Warriors. Tallie Muniz and Audrey Eaton each turned in solid scoring performances, finishing with nine points apiece. Elli Colian added seven points off the bench, while Sydney Lane chipped in six. Freshman Sofia Bacconi also scored her first career varsity points, finishing with two.
What's Next: With the win, the Lady Warriors improve to 12–1 on the season. Up next is a big conference contest at Marlington tomorrow, as West Branch looks to remain perfect in EBC play. Tip-off is set for 6:45 p.m.
