As many of you know, we lost one of our beloved classmates and friends. Remington Jones was a pure and kind soul who was selfless and always there to put a smile on your face. He was a bright star in a world full of darkness. We hope you join us in a yellow out night for him at the girls' and boys' games that are quickly approaching. Both games will take place at home at West Branch High School. The girls' game is scheduled against Avonworth for the 22nd of September at 7:30 pm. The boys' game will be against Carrollton on the 23rd of September at 6:30 pm. Please show up in yellow to support Remington and cheer on your West Branch soccer teams!
If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts or struggling with their mental health, they can always call or text the number 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Never be afraid to reach out to someone if you are struggling! It is okay to not be okay, but it is never okay to suffer in silence! Every year, we lose close to 50,000 people due to suicide.
You are not alone! We care, your friends care, we are here for you! Do not ever hesitate to reach out. You don't have to go through any of it on your own! YOU MATTER!
