Yesterday, both West Branch Middle School volleyball teams earned wins over Minerva. The 7th grade team swept the Lions in two sets (25-23, 25-18), while the 8th grade team put together a strong defensive effort to win in three sets (12-25, 25-18, 25-22).
7th Grade
Taci Stitle and Karlie Springer each tallied 9 points and 3 aces to lead the way. Rachael Emmons added 6 points and 3 aces, while Penelope Case chipped in 3 points and 1 ace.
8th Grade
Zayla Woods paced the Warriors with 8 points and 1 ace. Aubree Adams followed with 6 points and 3 aces, while Myla Raga contributed 5 points. McKenzie Hang added 5 points and 4 aces, and Averie Barr capped off the attack with 5 points, 1 ace, and 6 kills.
