The Warrior volleyball team improved to 8-5 and 5-1 in the EBC with a four set victory over Minerva on Thursday night. The Warriors dominated the first two sets winning 25-15 and 25-5. The Lions battled back and took set three 21-25 and had an eight point lead in the fourth set. The Warriors responded coming back to tie the match at 21. The continued to split points with Minerva holding the advantage and threatening to take the game, but West Branch responded eventually earning a 27-25 set victory taking the match three games to one.
Abigail Janosik had an amazing game tonight for the Warriors. The senior led servers and attacks tonight. Janosik had 18 points, 7 aces, 12 kills, 2 blocks, and a dig.
Ellyana Biskup had 7 points, 16 assists and 14 digs.
Chloey Sanor had 12 points, 3 aces, 5 assists, and 12 digs. The Hoopes sisters both had 9 kills each. Madilyn had 7 blocks and a dig while older sister Kendelle had 3 points, 3 blocks, and 7 digs.
Audrey Ring had 5 kills and 7 digs.
Aislyn Ring had 12 assists and 4 digs.
Kendyll Kaley had 9 points, 5 aces, 8 kills, 5 blocks, and 8 digs.
Cailyn Fritz had 3 kills, 5 blocks, and a dig.
Sydney Lane had 7 digs.
Neely Gruver had a point and 3 digs.
