Minerva, OH -- This season hasn't been quite what the West Branch boys golf team had hoped, but after earning a much-needed win over Alliance, they looked to carry that momentum into their match at Minerva. Unfortunately, Minerva squashed the momentum as West Branch fell 196–176.

Bennett Biggs led the team with a round of 45. Two other Warriors finished in the 40s, with Lucas Dyke and Mason Runk each carding 49s. Junior Collin Jones wasn't far behind, chipping in a 53 on the scorecard.

The WB JV team also dropped their match against Minerva. Aidan Martig led the Warriors with a 56, while freshman Colton Ghezzi was just one stroke behind with a 57.

What's Next: West Branch boys golf returns to action Tuesday against Ursuline at The Lake Club in Poland. Tee-off is set for 4 PM.
