The West Branch MS volleyball teams battled on the road against Boardman on Tuesday night but came up short in both matchups.

The 7th-grade team dropped two sets, 19-25 and 20-25. Rachael Emmons led the way with 6 points and 6 aces, while Raelyn Wutrick added 3 points and 1 ace.

The 8th-grade team pushed the Spartans to three sets before falling 21-25, 25-22, 18-25. McKenzie Hang and Aubree Adams each recorded 4 kills and 3 assists. Willow Ann Burton had 5 points, while Averie Barr finished with a team high 14 points. Zayla Woods chipped in 5 points, and Camryn Weisent added 2 blocks and 2 kills.
