The Warrior volleyball team moved to 1-0 in the EBC with a four set victory over Minerva on Tuesday night. The Warriors defeated the Lions 25-15, 17-25, 25-23, and 25-16. With the win, the Warriors improve to 4-3 on the season.
Audrey Ring made an impressive serve display in the 3rd set, the Warriors were down 17-23 to come back and win 25-23. Ring had 1 ace but served for 14 points, 8 kills, 5 blocks, and 9 digs.
Abigail Janosik had 7 kills and a dig.
Kendelle Hoopes had 8 points, 3 aces, 9 kills, 17 assists, 4 blocks, and 3 digs.
Madilyn Hoopes had 11 kills, 6 blocks, and a dig.
Aislyn Ring had 1 ace, 4 points, 16 assists, and 4 digs.
Sydney Lane had 6 points, 1 ace, and 6 digs. The girls stepped up at the end of the 3rd set to solidify the win in the 4th.Â
Next up: West Branch will host Marlington on Thursday. JV's start at 5 with the varsity to follow.
