Hubbard, OH -- After earning a dominant 6-0 win at Girard last Friday, the West Branch boys soccer team carried that momentum into Tuesday's road matchup at Hubbard. A year ago, the Eagles beat the Warriors 5-1, but this time West Branch flipped the script, securing a 2-0 victory for some sweet revenge.
The Warriors got goals from junior Reed Martucci and junior David Smith, with assists coming from Martucci and senior Gavin Clemens. Goalkeeper Lance Myers anchored the defense with eight saves, preserving the shutout and helping West Branch improve to 2-0 on the season.
What's Next: The West Branch Boys will be back in action on Saturday at home vs United. The match will begin at 1 PM.
