The JV White baseball team upped its record to 3-2 on the season as the team scored in every inning on its way to a 16-12 victory at Alliance on Monday afternoon. After falling behind 8-5 in the first inning the Warriors continued to battle back eventually taking a commanding 16-10 lead and held on in the end for the win.
The team collected 14 hits on the day. Six different Warriors had two hits including Connor Loper, Jackson Benner, Bryce Parker, Jacob Hardy, Gage Scott, and Owen Martin. Justin Dickey and Michael Pence also singled for the winners.
Austin Close picked up the victory on the mound allowing two unearned runs on one hit in four innings of work. Close struck out eight. Bryce Parker closed out the final two innings for the Warriors.
The White team will head to United on Friday for a 5 PM start.
