West Branch High School senior Iris Shofroth signed her enlistment with the United States Army this week. She was joined by her father, Staff Sergeant Gonzalez, and Staff Sergeant Schultz for the occasion.

Shofroth's enlistment marks an important step as she prepares for life after graduation. During her time as a Warrior, she was a member of the girls tennis team.
