Jocelyn Brink finished in 5th place at today's OHSAA District Wrestling Tournament at Mentor High School and will serve as an alternate for next weeks State Tournament.
Brink won her first two matches by pin but fell to her Carrollton opponent in the championship semi's. She was then defeated in the consolation semi's but won by pin in the 5th-6th place bout in 1:37 seconds over Giselle Moreno from Harvey High School. It was Brink's second pin of Harvey on the day.
Brooklyn Stoufer finished 1-2 on the day losing her first match before winning her second.
Unfortunately,
Grace Bates did not wrestle as a doctor determined before the match that she would not be allowed to wrestle.
Congratulations to the entire girls team for an excellent season!
