Gavin Hang and
Justin Marra had a good first day at the OHSAA District Wrestling Tournament at Kenston High School on Friday. Hang and Marra each won their first two matches and have advanced to the championship semifinals as both athletes are one win away from advancing to next weeks state tournament.
At 157 pounds, Marra defeated the #3 seed out of Orville 10-3 and then upset the Kenston #1 seed Brody Zoul out of Buckeye 8-3 to move on to the semi's. Hang pinned both of his opponents at 215 pounds to advance and will take on Hoban's David Feister in the semifinals.
Kamron Bradt's season came to a close as he fell in both his matches on the day.
