THE GAME

Coach Cooper's 6-1 West Branch Warriors host rival Alliance in one of the biggest games of the 2025 season tomorrow at 7:00 PM inside Clinton Heacock Stadium in Beloit, Ohio. The winner will be awarded the Helmet, the Gary Anderani Loyalty Award. This game is also Military Appreciation Night, so come out and show your support for the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. West Branch has controlled the series, winning five straight years and not losing to the Aviators since 2019. Some matchups have provided great games, most notably in the 2022 and 2023 seasons

.Alliance enters the matchup with a 6-1 record and is coming off a 47-28 win over Carrollton last week. Meanwhile, West Branch continues to roll, coming off a 62-0 shutout victory over Marlington.

West Branch continued their streak, winning its 28th consecutive EBC conference game last Friday, 62-0 over Marlington ... quarterback Grady Hirst finished 9/12 for 213 yards and three passing touchdowns, plus one rushing touchdown, bringing his season total to 23 total touchdowns ... big plays were made by receivers and tight end Gavin Gregory, who scored two touchdowns on just two catches ... Drake Stryffeler added two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown ... the real story was the vaunted Warrior defense, which forced four turnovers last week ... Grady Hirst, Zach Coffee, and Carson Wike all secured interceptions, while Coffee also recovered a fumble ... this season alone, the defense has forced 16 total turnovers and has only allowed 64 points all season ... if the defense can continue this dominance, West Branch should be able to contain Alliance, who enters the contest averaging 35 points per game.
