In its final game of the regular season the Lady Warrior Soccer team defeated Dover in a hard fought contest 4-2 to finish undefeated with a 14-0-2 record. The 14 wins ties a school record for wins in a regular season. The team also only allowed five goals on the year which is a school record.
After falling behind 1-0 the Warriors scored three straight goals to take a 3-1 halftime lead. The Tornadoes were able to cut the lead to 3-2, but the Warriors quickly responded taking a 4-2 lead and holding on for the victory.
Ellie Tucker led the way with two goals tonight.Â
Allie Brammer and
Elli Colian each contributed a goal and
Alinee Bacconi had an assist.Â
Audrey Eaton made two saves in goal.
Next up: The Warriors October 14th tournament game against Crestwood has been ruled a No Contest as the Red Devils do not have enough players for a team after some injuries. The Warriors move on in the tournament and will play at home on Tuesday, October 21st against the winner of Woodridge and Manchester at 7 PM.
