The 10th seeded Warrior volleyball team made short work of Streetsboro on Thursday night in an OHSAA Sectional Final at West Branch High School. The Warriors defeated the Rockets in three sets 25-13, 25-18, and 25-12. With the win the Warriors improve to 14-9 on the season.
Madilyn Hoopes led the Warriors in kills in tonight's match-up. The freshman had 9 kills, 2 blocks, and 3 digs.
Audrey Ring had 7 points, 5 aces, 6 kills, an assist, 5 blocks, and 12 digs.
Kendelle Hoopes had 8 points, 3 aces, 5 kills, a block, and a dig.
Kendyll Kaley had 10 points, an ace, 4 kills, an assist, 2 blocks, and 5 digs.
Abigail Janosik had 7 kills and 6 digs.
Cailyn Fritz had 2 kills, 8 blocks, and 2 digs.
Chloey Sanor had 6 points, 2 aces, 4 assists, and 5 digs.
Aislyn Ring had 7 points, an ace, 14 assists, and 4 digs.
Ellyana Biskup had 6 points, 2 aces, a kill, 11 assists, and 3 digs.
Next up: The Warriors will take on 11th seeded Holy Name in a District Semifinal on Monday at Ashtabula Edgewood High School. Game time is scheduled for 7 PM.
