The 8th grade volleyball team stayed perfect on the season with a convincing 25-19, 25-21 win over EBC rival Marlington on Wednesday afternoon.  The Warriors are 6-0 and 2-0 in the EBC.  Leading West Branch tonight was Lylah Myers with nine points and two aces.  Aislyn Ring had eight points and nine assists.  Madi Hoopes contributed eight kills and two blocks and Jaimi Mossgrove added seven kills.

In the 7th grade match the team came out on top in three sets to improve to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the EBC.  The team won the first set 25-22 but fell in set two 21-25.  In the deciding third set the Warriors controlled from start to finish winning 25-11.  Aubree Adams had eight points for the winners while Averie Barr added 14 points, seven aces, and four kills.  Willow Ann Burton finished the night with six points and three kills.  Myla Raga had eight points and three aces and Zayla Woods had four assists.

The two teams will look to continue their winning ways on Monday, September 9th when the teams host Alliance.
