The JV football team continued its perfect campaign with a 35-0 victory today over United. The Warriors are now 6-0 on the season.
The defense pitched its fourth straight shutout by forcing three turnovers. Jordan Wayt, Jackson Shinn, and Jeremy Ramsey each had interceptions.
Offensively, the Warriors built a 28-0 halftime lead led by three touchdown passes by Grady Hirst. Hirst also had a rushing touchdown. Johnny Edwards and Brett Weisel were on the receiving end of two of the passes from Hirst, while Damon Edwards and a receiving and rushing touchdown.
Gavin Clemens was a perfect 5 for 5 on PAT's.
Next up will be a home game against Marlington October 5th.
