Yesterday, the West Branch boys golf team improved their EBC record to 9-0 with a 164-177 victory over Minerva. The Warriors are playing well as they head into postseason play.
Jase Libb led the team with a commanding score of (38), while Dominic Brenner contributed an impressive (39). Lane Allison added a solid (42), and senior Kaleb Votaw rounded out the team's scoring with a (45).
Walker Poorbaugh shot a (49), and Mason Runk posted a (50), both of which were counted as individual scores.
JV: In JV action, the Warriors won 192-224. The team featured three players in the 40s, with Gavin Clay achieving a season-low (44). Lucas Dyke shot a (47), and Bennett Biggs added a solid (48).
What's Next: The boys golf team will be back in action for their final league match of the season, set to take place at Carroll Meadows Golf Course in Carrollton. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 PM.
