Last night was a memorable occasion for the West Branch girls volleyball team as they celebrated their six seniors: Addison Craven, Josie Milliken, Carter Shepherd, Isabel Martig, Ragan Greeneisen, and Ariana Aldridge. The Lady Warriors faced off against visiting Louisville, hoping to secure a victory to honor their seniors.
Despite their efforts, the Leopards spoiled the festivities with a 3-1 win. While it was a tough loss for the team on such a significant night, Head Coach Joshua Kuszmaul and the coaching staff, along with the administration, extend their heartfelt congratulations to each senior for their dedication and contributions to the volleyball program.

Despite the loss, several players made significant contributions. Ragan Greeneisen led with 7 points, including 3 aces, along with 5 assists and 27 digs. Josie Milliken added 7 points, 2 kills, 10 assists, and 14 digs. Isabel Martig contributed 5 points, 2 aces, 1 kill, 10 assists, and 8 digs, while Addison Craven recorded 10 points, 4 aces, and 12 digs. Carter Shepherd also made her mark with 2 kills and a block.
On the attacking front, Kendell Hoopes led with 9 kills, 2 points, 1 ace, 4 blocks, and 6 digs, while Kendyll Kaley added 7 kills, 10 points, 2 aces, 6 blocks, and 6 digs. Audrey Ring made an impact as well, with 6 kills and 8 blocks.
What's Next:Â The team will now prepare for the OHSAA Sectional Tournament against Northwest on Saturday, October 19th, at home. The game will start at 1 PM.
